Newgen iBPS Software Engineer - Java/Spring (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in the Newgen Business Process Management (iBPS) tool to develop and implement BPM solutions. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and optimize business process automation using Newgen iBPS.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement high-quality Business Process Management (BPM) solutions using the Newgen iBPS platform.

- Design, configure, and customize workflows, forms, and business rules within Newgen iBPS.

- Utilize Newgen iBPS APIs and SDKs for custom integrations and extensions.

- Conduct POC investigations to evaluate new technologies and features related to BPM and Newgen iBPS.

- Adopt and integrate new technologies as needed to enhance BPM solutions.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and other Java technologies.

- Develop and maintain robust and scalable Java-based components and services.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for Oracle and/or MSSQL databases.

- Ensure data integrity and performance within database interactions.

- Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including design, coding, peer reviews, unit testing, system testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including log analysis and database query optimization.

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Newgen quality processes and standards.

- Ensure code quality, security, and performance.

- Stay updated on emerging development tools, technologies, and trends, particularly in BPM and Newgen iBPS.

Qualifications & Experience :

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Newgen iBPS development.

Newgen iBPS and BPM :

- Deep expertise in Newgen iBPS platform and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).

- Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, JSP, Servlets, and J2EE.

- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and/or MSSQL databases.

- Experience in API design and development using REST, SOAP, Swagger, and WSDLs.

- Proficiency in version control systems (Git, SVN) and Azure DevOps (TFS).

- Knowledge of system integration principles and multi-tier software development.

- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with Newgen iBPS development and configuration.

- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, JSP, and Servlets.

- Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle and/or MSSQL databases.

- Experience in API design and integration (REST, SOAP).

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and Azure DevOps (TFS).

- Understanding of system integration and multi-tier architecture.

- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
