Technical Project Manager

Working Location- Gurugram, Work from Office

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Software Project Manager with 12+ years of experience in the IT/Software industry. The ideal Software Project Manager will oversee and deliver software projects across the portfolio, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and expertise in project management methodologies to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Manage project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.

- Monitor projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery within scope and quality standards.

- Ensure alignment with delivery methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

- Act as primary liaison between project teams and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.

- Facilitate collaboration, resolve conflicts, and maintain high team morale.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

- Manage project budgets to ensure cost efficiency and optimal utilization of resources.

Preferred Skills

- Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

- Strong expertise in team leadership, conflict resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Hands-on experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, OpenProject).

- Strong ability to analyse project metrics and implement data-driven improvements.

Desired Skills

- Experience in delivering software projects for India-based govt. and private sector clients.

- Familiarity with diverse technology stacks such as .NET, Java, PHP, JavaScript frameworks.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and open-source tools for software delivery.

Educational Background

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, or a related field.

- PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification.

- Agile certification such as CSM, SAFe, or equivalent is a plus.
