Job Description

Role Overview: The LD Specialist will play a key role in driving the learning culture and employee development within the Offshore Development Center (ODC). The focus will be on delivering onboarding training, conducting regular Training Needs Assessments (TNA), addressing knowledge gaps, to ensure employees have clear learning paths for continuous development and growth in Capillary.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Needs Analysis (TNA):
  • Conduct regular TNAs for new hires to identify skill gaps and develop learner profiles.
  • Develop comprehensive learning paths for each profile that include a 60-day onboarding plan featuring company orientation, product and functional training, followed by a 2 year on-the-job upskilling plan that addresses soft skills and other technical competencies necessary for career progression
Training Program Development:
  • Design and implement engaging training programs aligned with ODC goals using various methods (workshops, e-learning, hands-on).
Onboarding Training:
  • Conduct onboarding sessions covering Capillary culture, product functional knowledge, and other ODC requirements.
  • Collaborate with SMEs (Product, CS, PSV) to ensure effective onboarding.
  • Manage the onboarding process: program design, logistics, attendance tracking, delivery and reporting.
Evaluation and Feedback:
  • Assess training effectiveness through evaluations and metrics, continuously improving programs based on feedback.
Skill-Gap Analysis Custom Learning Paths:
  • Evaluate employee skills to recommend learning interventions and develop structured learning paths for career progression quarter on quarter.
Learning Coordination Reporting:
  • Serve as the main contact for training logistics, ensuring smooth execution and engagement.
  • Report outcomes and learner progress to leadership and managers.
Collaboration with the Academy Team:
  • Maintain training records and best practices with the Academy team.
  • Manage the Academy portal (LMS) and keep ODC employees informed about available resources and initiatives to encourage greater participation and utilization.
External Training Solutions:
  • Identify and engage external providers / ready to deploy programs for specialized training not available in-house, ensuring quality and relevance.
Departmental Collaboration:
  • Engage with department heads to understand learning needs and arrange sessions regularly to keep employees updated.
Employee Advocacy Learning Culture:
  • Advocate for learners and promote a culture of empathy and continuous learning in all LD initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in learning and development, training facilitation, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Proficient in using Learning Management Systems and other training tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness and adapt programs accordingly.
  • Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., ATD, CPTD) is a plus.
Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse global teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Passion for learning and development and promoting a growth mindset in others.
