Design Engineer - MSI

Technical Skills:

• Experience in Airbus methodologies and Processes for A320/A330 and A350.
• Design of mechanical system installation components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, and production/assembly requirements while the highest safety of the product is assured using appropriate design tools.
• Good Working Knowledge in Installation Drawings (Airbus Standards) creation.
• Proven understanding of mechanical systems installation and design requirements.
• Working experience on various systems including ATA36, ATA21, ATA28, ATA29, ATA38, ATA47 etc
• Strong drawing reading and understanding skills, Knowledge on GD&T.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience on MSI
• Experience in Designing, Detailing, Assembly and BOM
• Reporting capabilities (for all activities)
• Airbus certification is must ( VPM + PASS )

Tool Skills:

• Catia V5: Good Hands on experience in Part Design, Sheet metal, Assembly Design, GSD , Tubing and Drafting Modules.
• PASS/VPM: Working Knowledge on PASS V2 and VPM.
• Good to have exposure to work with Scripts (VBA)/Macros.

• Report technical risks, issues, and opportunities to the team, technical leadership and program
• Responsible for mentoring and training the juniors
