About The Role : 

Candidate should have installation configuration and Troubleshooting Knowledge in MS SQL DB Administration Installation and configuration of SQL servers and services Use tools to Apply database service packs and Security Patches Manage Backup for all 2012 2014 and 2016 Servers create Database Backup Plan Resolve database performance issues database capacity issues and trouble shoot database issues Coordinate with Development and Application Team in order to resolve all technical issue with no escalation Perform day to day DB administration e g Shrink DB create delete users create delete SQL server roles etc Interact with client for identifying new requirements and analyse the requirements to translate into DB configuration Perform Database Migration from Lower version to Higher Version and from On premises to Azure Cloud Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems Configure and maintain database servers and processes including monitoring of system health and performance to ensure high levels of performance availability and security Perform and Monitor Health Checks on Databases on SQL PaaS Timely update the SQL Database Documents and SOP
