Role & responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities-
l The Project management Head shall lead from the front, groom second line of leaders and develop a high performing team that is committed towards operational excellence and customer delight.
l Coordination for prospect client visit
l Meeting client for operation related query (BD stage & after order is finalized)
l Follow-up with UFS Sr. Designer and ARC Design team for sleeve/ tie-rod hole, bracket and working platform, shaft platform layout drawing of safety screen system and allied safety products
l Coordinate with UFS Sr. Designer and follow-up with client for sign-off and approval of initial drawing
l Prepare project management schedule covering Material ordering plan, evaluation & selection of Manufacturing plant for fabrication, evaluation and selection of installation agency and follow-up with Design team for detailed fabrication drawing of all components of safety screen system and allied safety products
l Proper review of detailed fabrication drawing of all components (layout, sections and Bill of material) along with UFS Sr. Designer
l Timely query resolution of manufacturer & client
l Plan resources and guide support teams during mobilization period of new project
l Client site logistics plan preparation and schedule finalization
l Timely handover of Safety screen system and or allied safety products to client and maintain documentation
l Performance appraisal of Mfg. plant and installation agencies and reward & recognize them.
l Review the performance of the Operations team members
l Conduct site visits and identify areas of improvement in safety, Quality, delivery and innovate process
l Take joint site round with site team i.e., site in-charge, EHS officer to review the effectiveness of housekeeping, EHS risks, Quality standards and productivity
l Review and resolve QAQC and EHS concerns proactively
l Proactively intimate to the COO and MD about any untoward incident, accident like medically treated injury (MTI), Lost time injury (LTI), any dangerous occurrence, fatality, and any issue which would disruption to the project smooth functioning including any labour unrest and emergency like ill-health of staff or workers, fire that occurred at the project site for swift response, guidance and support to handle the situation
l Conduct six monthly audits of completed projects and identify for any serious lapses and deterioration in product quality
l Check finish goods of Safety screen system and allied products quality before dispatch to client site, identify non-conformance, root cause and report it to senior management and take corrective action to avoid recurrence
l Implement and sustain Quality Management system (QMS) as per ISO 9001:2015 std. in the organization for standardization and continual improvement
Review performance of the operations team and recommend for incentives
Subordinates- EHS Manager, QAQC Inspector, Project Planning & coordination Manager, site in-charge and site supervisors
Co-ordination with- Sr. Designer, Finance Manager, Contracts & Billing Executive, Procurement Executive, HR Support (Outsource), Stores & Materials management Executive
Communication- Review meeting with client, Design, COO, MD, MIS reports, Email
Preferred candidate profile
l Safety- Zero reportable accidents and Zero complaints/ penalties from client
l Quality- First time right quality
l Timely fabrication, delivery & handover of safety screen system & allied products to client as per agreed schedule
l Cost optimization- Reconciliation within 2%
