Role & Responsibilities

To work on INGENIUM application, make changes and enhancements as requested in Functional Specifications/Change Requests. Actively participate in technical feasibility study, estimates, prepare Technical specification document, Coding & Unit testing, coordination, and technical walk thru with Business Analysts, Testing Team an,d implementing the changes in the system

Impact on the Business / Function

• Understanding of High- & low-level designs.
• Responsible for Analysis, Coding & Unit Test Plan and Unit Testing as per requirements outlined in Functional Specifications.
• Perform program construction / modification as per requirements and fix the defects identified during testing phase
• Able to identify system gaps and provide feasible technical solutions.
• Assist and participate in deployment of system changes to various regions.
• Guide other IT application teams due to changes in the Core applications.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly disseminate information.
• Applying Analytical & Coding skills for designing   system changes
• Produce Technical documentation covering module level specs , work product reviews, Process improvements and unit test scenarios.
• Knowledge of Cobol, JavaScript, HTML, Pathfinder, Rexx, CICS,DB2 & SQL query.
• Hands on experience with Windows/Unix/AIX OS platforms
• Knowledge of INGENIUM Architecture
