Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Auditing Manager with a strong background in IT networking, system administration, and deep domain expertise in BFSI to drive the audit function. This role involves managing IT audits, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and mitigating risks in technology-driven financial environments. The candidate will lead teams, evaluate IT infrastructure, and align auditing practices with organizational goals and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Management and Planning:

• Develop and manage comprehensive audit plans for IT infrastructure, networking, system administration, and BFSI operations.
• Lead IT audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as PCI DSS, SOX, ISO 27001, GDPR, and RBI guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key risk areas and establish audit priorities.

Technical and BFSI Domain Audits:

• Assess IT systems, including network architecture, servers, firewalls, and applications, for compliance, performance, and security in BFSI environments.
• Conduct audits on financial applications, payment systems, and CTS platforms, ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry best practices.
• Evaluate third-party vendor risk and data privacy compliance.

Risk and Compliance Management:

• Identify, analyze, and document IT risks related to BFSI-specific operations, including cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and operational resilience.
• Ensure compliance with BFSI-specific regulations, such as Basel III, RBI IT guidelines, and data protection laws.
• Work closely with the risk management team to design and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between IT, business units, banking and financial institutions and regulators, fostering collaboration to enhance audit effectiveness.
• Present audit findings, risk analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership and board committees.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on emerging BFSI regulations, IT trends, and cybersecurity threats.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive the adoption of advanced audit tools and techniques, including AI-based audit analytics and automation.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA in Finance/IT is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CCNA/CCNP, or CRISC are highly desirable.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IT networking, system administration, or IT auditing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in BFSI auditing, with a strong understanding of financial systems and regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, networking technologies, and cybersecurity in BFSI environments.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of BFSI compliance standards, including RBI, SEBI, PCI DSS, and SOX.
• Strong technical expertise in network protocols, system configurations, and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in using audit tools, vulnerability scanners, and governance platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with banking technologies, including core banking systems, payment gateways, and digital wallets.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and security frameworks.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
