Job Position: Networking and Infrastructure Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
- Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) for hybrid or fully cloud-based environments.
- Conduct regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and failover testing.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure needs for applications and services.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network , or AWS/Azure certifications.
- Experience with SD-WAN, network automation tools, or scripting (Python, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.
- Understanding of ITIL frameworks and practices.
