Job description
Support the stake holders in overseeing the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of the organization s IT infrastructure. This role involves managing IT staff, coordinating projects, troubleshooting issues related to Hardware and software developed by the company, and implementing new technologies that align with the organizations goals.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management: Assist in managing and maintaining the organization s / Clients IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software. Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of IT systems. Closely monitor the execution of jobs scheduled on each of the servers and help in fixing issues. Oversee backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing guidance and support to ensure professional development. Assist in managing the IT helpdesk, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of IT issues. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Project Management: Assist in planning and executing IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations. Coordinate with various departments to understand and address their IT needs. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors for the procurement and maintenance of IT equipment and services. Evaluate vendor proposals and ensure compliance with contracts and service-level agreements.
Security and Compliance: Implementing and maintaining IT security policies and procedures. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring the protection of organizational data. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Technical Support: Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets and software licenses. Document IT procedures, configurations, and solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT operations. Support the IT Manager in strategic planning and the development of IT policies and best practices.
