Bank Reconciliation Officer ( Finance team )

Job Title: Accountant

Qualifications:

• Graduation in Commerce or a related field (B.Com or equivalent).

Work Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, bank reconciliation, and taxation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Day-to-Day Accounting:
  
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Record and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely and accurate entries in the accounting software.
• Bank Reconciliation:
  
• Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements with internal records.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Monitor daily banking activities to ensure financial accuracy.
• Taxation Compliance (TDS & GST):
  
• Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) as per statutory requirements.
• Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time.
• Stay updated on changes in TDS and GST laws and implement necessary updates.
• Reporting:
  
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure timely submission of reconciliations and statutory filings.
• General Support:
  
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and audits.
• Assist in improving and streamlining accounting processes.

• Skills Required:
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
• Strong knowledge of TDS and GST regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
