Finance Assistant

About the Role

As Finance Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organization. This position involves advanced financial analysis, strategic financial planning, and overseeing various financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable management. The Account Specialist will be responsible for preparing and publishing financial documents, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and managing regulatory compliance, including tax filings and balance sheet finalization.

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis and Modelling:

• Conduct advanced financial analyses to assess the present and forecasted financial health of the company.
• Utilize financial modelling techniques to simulate various financial scenarios, providing insights for decision-making.

2. Financial Reporting:

• Manage the preparation of departmental and organizational financial documents.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and principles.

3. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:

• Oversee the management of accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Supervise invoicing and bill payments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

4. Financial Compliance:

• Examine financial documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.
• Handle compliance-related tasks such as Income tax, TDS, PF/ESI and filing of GSTR.

5. Balance Sheet Finalization and Contract Renewal:

• Participate in the finalization of the balance sheet.
• Manage expense reimbursement processes and oversee contract renewals.

6. Technology Utilization:

• Use accounting software tools such as Tally for accounting, Zoho for invoicing, and MIS for reporting.
• Manage credit card expense management processes.

7. Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including PF/ESI, Income tax, TDS, and GSTR filings.
• Handle tasks related to FOREX (ELL) remittances.

8. Payroll Management:

• Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

What We Need:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounts/ Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA preferred)

Years of Experience

• 2+ years' experience in accounts management position
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
