Job Description

Mission:


The Manager, Talent Acquisition develops recruiting, sourcing and retention strategies and related action plans while implementing best practices to support the talent needs of the organization. The Manager is responsible for evaluating the entire recruiting function of the organization and continually find opportunities for improvements. The Manager partners with other HR leaders, business partners and key business leaders to ensure timely understanding of the Company's current and future talent needs and related recruiting demands.  The Manager is expected to be proactively sourcing and creating pipelines of talent and a strong external brand as part of our critical talent strategy.


Responsibilities:


  • Identifying the recruiting, sourcing and retention implications of the business strategy; anticipating client's needs and delivering talent solutions that enable the execution of the business strategy.  Evaluating recruiting efforts to continually improve the process and quality of talent brought into the organization. Overseeing compliance to all regulations that impact the hiring and selection process
  • Designing and implementing metrics that evaluate all talent acquisition programs and initiatives across the organization; Driving results, ensuring that staffing activity is meeting/exceeding client requirements. 
  • Identifying and selecting media, technological and social solutions that support our talent acquisition strategy; Responsible for public relations as well as branding and marketing in local communities. Drives external employee value proposition through social media etc. Builds and leverages our attraction programs, including social media, untapped networks and employee referrals to develop a network of brand ambassadors. 
  • Works with company leaders on talent pipelines to support succession planning and other key business initiatives.  Actively involved in our strategic workforce planning process and the talent input implications.
  • Managing relationships with temporary agencies and other recruitment vendors; in addition to academic institutions and workforce development agencies

Requirements:


  • Master's Degree in Human Resources Management. 
  • Demonstrated ability in recruiting process improvement and generating strong results
  • Metrics driven, and continuous improvement focused with clear examples of success
  • Knowledge of laws regarding HR issues and employment
  • Proven ability to develop outside staffing partners and creative sourcing channels that drive high volume/high quality applicant flow
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal customers, external vendors, and Senior Management 
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within the organization, including presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization and to facilitate group discussions and serve as project lead as appropriate
  • Ability to plan own work, pay close attention to detail and handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to effectively market and promote the company in communities served in partnership with Corporate Communications
  • Results oriented individual that can help guide and educate hiring managers to meet their recruiting goals.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity , Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective change agent, constantly challenging conventional thinking, approach and methodology to drive breakthrough results, with a process-focused, continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong desire to be held accountable for results.
  • Excellent collaboration and coaching skills.
  • Willingness and ability to both recruit and lead, will actively manage requisitions
  • Min of 7-10 years of recruiting experience (previous experience recruiting for manufacturing positions preferred)
  • Proven ability to develop external resource relationships and creative sourcing channels that drive high volume/high quality applicant flow
  • Proven track record in filling roles that span the organization; especially hard to fill roles
  • International Experience in Asia region, and with workforce planning a plus
  • Oracle tools practice
  • Certified People Sourcing Professional or other similar sourcing certification preferred but not required
