To coordinate with the management for the development and implementation of EHS policy and procedures at site. To advise and assist the site management in the fulfillment of its obligations, statutory compliances concerning accident prevention and maintenance of safe working environment. To promote setting up of safety committees and act as an advisor and perform as secretarial roll in leadership of Factory safety committee. To plan and impart EHS training to the employees and contractor staff. To coordinate the EHS actives at the site by developing EHS plan and its implementation through staff and HOD. To educate the workforce to investigate all accident and incidents and check the compliance of its CAPA. Highlight the unsafe conditions/practices to the management for the action and improvement. To conduct the EHS inspection and audit as per schedule and ensure the compliance from HODs. Implementation and maintaining the EMS 14001 and OHSA 18001 system and ensure the compliance for the same. To guide HOD, subordinate and EHS department staff for the EHS matter. To prepare EHS budget and ensure the effective utilization. Cost effectiveness and cost saving approach to be adopted in the department. To motivate and increase the EHS amongst the employees -celebrate the safety day, environment day, fire day and other EHS activities at site To support the HR dept for the Medical checkup and other occupational Health activities ate site. To help and guide the purchase dept for the procurement of safety items and enroll the EHS guideline/instructions in the purchase orders. Review the EHS performance yearly and make the action plan and implement for the improvement. To liaise for EHS matter with the statutory authority and maintain good repo with them. Maintain good relationship with internal and external body for the smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
