C.V. Raman Global University (CGU), Odisha started in 1997 as a degree-level engineering college, named as C.V. Raman College of Engineering (CVRCE). • Mr. Subrat Patel won Medallion of Excellence in the area of Restaurant Services at World Skills, Stuttgart, Germany, 2022.

Where You Come In
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Engineer (Civil) to join our dynamic team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Prepare a detailed designs, blueprints, and layouts for construction projects in collaboration with the architecture and planning teams. Ensure that all designs comply with university standards, safety regulations, and environmental sustainability guidelines.

• Site Supervision & Management: Oversee on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with contractors, engineers and labour teams to ensure quality and adherence to safety standards. Conduct regular inspections and provide progress reports to project management.

• Project Estimation & Budgeting: Prepare cost estimates, material procurement lists, and resource allocation plans for various construction and infrastructure projects. Monitor project expenditures to ensure they remain within the allocated budget.

• Infrastructure Maintenance & Upkeep: Manage routine maintenance, repair work, and renovation of university buildings, roads, drainage systems and other civil infrastructure. Conduct safety audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement or maintenance.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities adhere to local, state, and national building codes and regulations. Obtain necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities for construction projects.

• Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with other university departments to ensure alignment of infrastructure needs with academic and administrative goals. Liaise with external consultants and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including designs, progress reports, budget reports, and compliance records. Prepare and present detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders.

• Sustainability & Innovation: Incorporate green building practices and innovative design solution to promote sustainability on campus. Research and recommend modern engineering practices and technologies to enhance university infrastructure.

Who Are We Looking For

• Career 1st Class throughout (60% Career)
• Minimum Qualification- Four (04) years B.Tech in Civil Engineering. with good academic track record.
• Minimum five years (05) of work experience in Housing Project (Buildings), Real Estate Sector with Residential Apartment in high rise category.
