Role: Brand & Product Manager
Location: Pune
Reporting to: Management
Department: Marketing
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and Strategic Marketing incumbent to lead and oversee all marketing functions for our diverse business segments, including Agro Business, Food Park, and Life Sciences. This is a senior leadership role where the incumbent will take full ownership of crafting and executing the companys marketing vision. The Marketing Head will play a pivotal role in managing external marketing agencies, driving PR and communications, and developing a cohesive marketing strategy across various channels. Additionally, this role will be responsible for overseeing product relaunches, strengthening the brand presence, and leading the transition towards a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business model for our products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Lead the overall marketing function and provide strategic direction to the marketing team and external partners.
- Develop a long-term marketing roadmap aligned with the companys business objectives and growth plans across Agro Business, Food Park, and Life Sciences.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for all business verticals to ensure sustained growth, market expansion, and brand differentiation.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, offline, and traditional platforms to ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging.
- Oversee the development of market penetration strategies, customer acquisition plans, and revenue growth models.
2. Agency Management & Collaboration:
- Identify, hire, and manage relationships with external agencies, including digital marketing, PR, creative, and advertising agencies.
- Ensure agency partners deliver high-quality work that aligns with business goals, and closely monitor the performance and ROI of agency efforts.
3. PR & Communications:
- Oversee and guide all internal and external communication efforts, ensuring consistent and clear messaging across all platforms.
- Develop PR strategies to enhance the brand’s reputation and visibility in the market, including media relations, press releases, and speaking opportunities for leadership.
- Act as a spokesperson and brand ambassador for the company when needed.
4. Brand Building & Product Relaunch:
- Lead the relaunch of existing product lines across all business segments, ensuring strong market re-entry strategies that resonate with target consumers.
- Develop brand-building initiatives to enhance brand loyalty, consumer trust, and market share.
- Ensure alignment of brand values and messaging across all marketing touchpoints and business verticals.
5. D2C Business Model Development:
- Create and implement a strategic roadmap for building a Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) model, enabling direct engagement with customers and enhancing customer experience.
- Collaborate with product, technology, and e-commerce teams to build a seamless D2C platform and ensure its success.
6. Market Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct thorough market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights to stay ahead of industry trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing initiatives, ensuring they drive results and achieve business objectives.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Partner with sales, product, R&D, and operations teams to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with business goals and drive cross-functional success.
- Lead collaboration across departments for successful product launches and market expansions.

8. Budgeting & Performance Monitoring:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across campaigns, brand-building activities, and product launches.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, ensuring high ROI and alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Job Specification
Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the FMCG, Food, Ayurvedic Business, or Life Sciences sectors.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale marketing campaigns and relaunching product lines.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and external partners, including agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing and executing a D2C business model is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of PR, MARCOM, branding, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Results-driven with a focus on data analytics and performance metrics.
