Job Summary:

The Business Development Officer (Field Work) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting the company's products or services. This role requires extensive travel, client visits, and market research to expand the company's market presence and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Lead Generation:

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
• Develop a pipeline of prospective clients through field visits, cold calling, and networking.
• Analyse industry trends and competitors to provide strategic insights.

2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

• Visit potential clients to present company products/services and negotiate contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth:

• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets set by the management.
• Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management.

4. Business Expansion & Partnerships:

• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional strategies.
• Identify and establish partnerships with key stakeholders and industry players.
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to expand the business network.

5. Field Work & Reporting:

• Conduct regular client and market visits as per the assigned territory.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
• Provide weekly/monthly field reports and feedback to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar field role.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within assigned regions.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Valid drivers license.
