Mechanical Draftsman - Onsite - GFS

This group provides engineering services for facilities that include but not limited to data centers, manufacturing, commercial, food & consumer product, and aviation. We are looking for an experienced and energetic Draftsman to join our growing Global Facilities team in the Mumbai office to support Mechanical design activities on projects mainly in the North America region.

Key Responsibilities:2D drafting of general arrangement drawings using AutoCAD to produce deliverables in 2D format like –General Arrangement drawings of the Equipment room.Development of plans and section drawingsAs-built drawings3D modeling of basic equipment shapeResponsible for coordinating assigned scope of work with other disciplines to generate a clash-free design.Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design responsibilities by closely working with discipline lead engineer.A committed team player able to work on own initiative.Ability to self-check and produce accurate work.Good communication skills – written and verbal.

2D Tools: AutoCAD,Knowledge of AutoCAD is a must and Inventor/ Revit / Plant 3D will be an added advantage.Microsoft Office Tools – MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote

ITI /NCTVT – Mechanical Draftsman / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.Minimum 1 to 4 years of experience in the development of general arrangement drawings, 3D modeling using AutoCAD. Management and Organization of CAD drawings.Knowledge of basic technical theory and engineering principles within the Mechanical discipline.Knows how to apply engineering principles for basic design analyses within the disciplineKnows input requirements to perform various discipline tasks.Has a good understanding of activities carried by other disciplines and of inter-discipline coordination involved in a typical project.
