Description
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Event personnel to plan, coordinate, and execute events that align with our organizational goals. The Event Manager will oversee all aspects of event planning and management, from conception to execution, ensuring seamless experiences that meet the desired objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed project plans and timelines for events.
Liaise with stakeholders to determine event objectives, themes, and budgets.
Source and manage venues, suppliers, and vendors.
Oversee logistical elements such as permits, transportation, and accommodations.
Event Planning and Coordination:
Supervise on-site operations during events to ensure quality and compliance.
Coordinate with staff, volunteers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues during the event.
Budget Management:
Prepare and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure the best deals.
Monitor and report on financial performance related to events.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events through various channels.
Create promotional materials such as brochures, social media posts, and invitations.
Track attendance and gather feedback for post-event analysis.
Post Event Evaluation:
Analyze event success and gather feedback from participants and stakeholders.
Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for future improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field with a minimum experience of 8 years
Proven experience in planning and managing large-scale events.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in event management software and tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Creativity and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and focus on quality.
Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
Knowledge of current trends in event planning and technology.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by event schedules.
Ability to travel for off-site events or vendor meetings.
