Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced PowerBuilder Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application development using PowerBuilder, along with experience in database management and software development life cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain PowerBuilder applications.

- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and analyze requirements.

- Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Perform unit testing and debugging of applications.

- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues.

- Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in PowerBuilder development.

- Proficient in PowerBuilder version 12.0 or higher.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).

- Experience with web services and APIs is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., C#, Java) is a plus.

- Ability to mentor junior developers and lead small projects.
