Bureau.id - Senior DevOps Engineer - CI/CD (3-6 yrs)

Job Description :

One of the largest insurance companies in Asia relies on (Field Sales) Agents to sell their insurance policies. The Agent is incentivised to onboard as many clients as possible in order to make their commissions. This leads to them cutting a few corners : while the ID details remain legitimate, agents tell their busy customers ( people like you) that they'll fill out the form on their behalf and end up providing their contact details instead of that of the customer. This leads to :

- Lack of contractability about renewals

- Lack of clarity on policy details

- Difficulty in making claims

- Red flags during regulatory audits

Responsibilities :

Improve CI/CD tooling :

- Implement and improve monitoring and alerting.

- Build and maintain highly available systems.

- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and 'fixes'

- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

- Perform root cause analysis for production errors.

- Investigate and resolve technical issues

- Develop scripts to automate visualization

We're looking for someone who has :

- 2+ years work experience in Devops and enjoys building Infrastructure with Terraform

- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role

- Proficient with git and git workflows including CI/CD

- Good knowledge of Python or any scripting language

- Knowledge of Docker, databases and SQL
