Purpose of Position:
Drive the effective operational KPIs for region which includes delivery of BSI services with the regional team by efficiently managing the cost of operation for the region, focus on operational excellence by including client centricity; collaboration; and operational support.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Management of team managers to support them in the structured management.
To ensure headcount and skills mix of the region is maintained to manage the delivery to all clients served by the region.
Oversee day-to-day operations for region.
Set strategy and set goals for growth.
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
Direct the employee assessment process.
Prepare regular reports for management overview.
Ensure staff follow health and safety regulations.
Provide solutions to issues (e.g.Profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).
Provide leadership in the effective management of operation and in meeting regional profit.
Ensure all deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget and at the highest levels of quality.
Annual budget preparation and forecasting.
Responsible for managing client and team relationships including overall work plan development and
team coordination efforts.
Drive the performance and development of the team members through coaching and training.
Act as a brand Ambassador for BSI. This means acting ethically, following company rules, and promoting BSI services to clients so they can optimize business performance and Make Excellence a Habit.

Ability to provide professional leadership to all operational staff at all levels.

Additional Details:
All the Line Managers have the following responsibilities towards Environment, Health, and Safety program
in addition to their roles and responsibilities defined for the purpose of job .
a. Perform the role for Environment, Health and Safety as defined for all the employees
b. Communication with identified interested parties for applicable issues on Environment, Health, and Safety
c. Offer safe work environment to the employees under his/her control
d. Monitor the compliance to the requirements of Environment, Health and Safety as communicated by Head Technical and Compliance and/or management of BSI at various instances
e. Encourage participation and consultation of the employees under his/her control for identification and management of hazards and associated risk
f. Monitor the performance of the employees under his/her control for trainings completed, use of PPE, and other aspects as relevant for enhancing awareness, competence and performance of Environment, Health, and Safety
g. Contribute towards achieving the objectives for Environment, Health, and Safety
h. Report the near miss, incidence, accidents, or suggestions etc. as given by employees to Head Technical and Compliance. Participate in investigation and improvement process
i. Ensure that the employees who exercise their right to withdraw from work due unsafe environment are not subjected to any kind of harassment, reprisals, or similar act
j. Support and implement policies for making BSI a safe workplace.
