Associate Director - Manufacturing Operations Consulting - Procurement & Sourcing - Big4 Accounting Firm (7-8 yrs)

Big4 has been mandated to recruit a Associate Director-Manufacturing for one of the top accounting organizations for a multi locations ( Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Gurgaon)

Job Title: Associate Director - Manufacturing (Procurement & Sourcing)

Location: Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Gurgaon (Open to Travel)

Company: Big4 Accounting Organization

Experience: 7+ years (with at least 4-6 years in Operations Consulting)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead procurement cost reduction and category strategy initiatives for clients in Cement, steel, Chemical, and Manufacturing industries.

2. Design and implement SOPs, policies, process improvements, and optimization strategies or procurement and sourcing.

3. Drive procurement cost optimization initiatives and product cost benchmarking.

4. Conduct negotiation strategies with vendors to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency.

5. Evaluate market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry dynamics to formulate procurement and sourcing strategies.

6. Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis to provide insightful recommendations.

7. Lead and manage strategy projects, define objectives, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

8. Facilitate workshops, client presentations, and support implementation of procurement strategies.

9. Build strong client relationships and identify business growth opportunities.

10. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, contributing to thought leadership.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

- Strong expertise in sourcing/procurement for the Cement, Steel, and Chemical industries (e.g., Coal, Limestone, Gypsum, etc.).

- Deep knowledge of procurement cost optimization, supply chain management, and vendor negotiations.

- Hands-on experience in product cost benchmarking and optimization.

- Ability to solve complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.

- Strong analytical skills to assess business objectives, gather data, and identify key insights.

- Excellent client engagement, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

- Experience in leading consulting projects, process redesign, and strategy implementation.

Qualification:

1. Btech + MBA from Tier-1 and Tier-2 colleges.

2. Experience in Big4 or other top international business consulting firms (Operations Consulting Practice).

3. Industry experience in Procurement/Sourcing within Auto (Tier I or OEM) / Industrial

4. Manufacturing sectors such as Cement, Steel, Chemical, FMCD, etc.

5. Open to travel for work-related requirements
