Dot NET Developer

• As a Net developer, you will be responsible for creating applications from the ground up, configuring existing systems, and providing user support
• You must possess the ability to write functional code and have a keen eye for identifying and resolving defects
• Collaboration and effective communication are essential
• Your primary objective will be to collaborate with our internal teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions built around the Net ecosystem

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain .NET applications using C# and the .NET framework (preferably .Net 6 and above).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy software solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

• Work with databases e.g. SQL Server and Postgres to design and optimize the database schemas and write efficient SQL queries.

• Create functional Web APIs and background jobs using .Net framework.

• Experience with working on cloud technologies

• Design and develop RESTful web services.

• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and code reviews.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest .NET technologies and industry trends and introduce relevant technologies to the team.

• Contribute to the documentation of software designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.

• Assist in planning and estimation of software development projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 3-5 years of experience as a .NET developer or in a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.

• Experience with web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Solid experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and other relevant web frameworks.

• Proficiency in working with databases and SQL, with experience in SQL Server preferred.

• Experience in working with distributed systems and event driven architecture.

• Experience with popular testing libraries like xUnit or NUnit alongside with mocking libraries like Moq/NSubstitute.

• Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
