About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief of Staff to partner closely with the leadership team and drive critical initiatives across the organization. As a key enabler for the CEO and the executive team, you will play a pivotal role in aligning cross-functional teams, optimizing decision-making processes, and ensuring the smooth execution of the company's vision and strategic goals. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a high-growth EdTech startup, shaping the future of education.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning and Execution :
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute the company's strategic priorities.
- Develop frameworks for analyzing business challenges and support in making data-driven decisions.
Program and Project Management:
- Drive key initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables align with company goals.
- Track and report progress on critical projects, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
Leadership Support:
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO, providing insights and recommendations for operational and strategic decisions.
- Prepare and review materials for board meetings, investor updates, and internal communications.
Cross-functional Coordination:
- Foster collaboration between departments, ensuring alignment on objectives and seamless communication.
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve organizational processes and efficiency.
Data and Analytics:
- Work with the analytics team to gather, interpret, and present data to guide decision-making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend adjustments to strategies as needed.
Culture and Team Development:
- Act as a culture carrier, championing the company's values and mission.
- Support talent acquisition and development initiatives to build high-performing teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: B.Tech or MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred from Tier 1/2 College
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or similar roles, ideally in startups or high-growth environments. EdTech experience is a plus.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to build trust and rapport across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Office, Google Workspace, and project management platforms
- Passion for education and technology, with a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem.
