Purpose of the Role:

The Senior P&C Business Partner will provide high-level business partnering, advisory, coaching, and consulting across the employee lifecycle, focusing on talent engagement, performance, development, and compensation. This role also leads a team of local Business Partners, overseeing cyclical P&C activities and delivering leadership coaching and support across the GSC.


The role is diverse and fast-paced, and requires a dynamic individual who is self-motivated, disciplined, ethical and results oriented. Our Senior P&C Business Partner will work autonomously at the senior level to drive business outcomes through effective people practices, with performance and commercial success at the heart of their advice.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Leadership: Oversee and develop P&C Business Partner(s) and Advisor(s) to enhance their effectiveness and contributions.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Country Managers and senior leaders to align people strategies with business goals, providing guidance to shape and implement impactful solutions.
  • Organizational Design: Advise on optimal organizational structure, manage restructures and redeployment, and drive employee engagement while minimizing risk.
  • P&C Cycles: Manage cyclical P&C activities (remuneration reviews, KPIs, performance reviews, surveys, leadership development, compliance, and talent reviews) across assigned locations or units, providing feedback for program improvement.
  • Coaching & Support: Guide People Leaders to maximize team performance; escalate issues as needed to address leader performance effectively.
  • Program Implementation: Work with P&C specialists to scope, design, and execute OD and P&C programs, ensuring consistency across units.
  • International Alignment: Coordinate with global P&C peers on terminations, restructures, and initiatives, ensuring alignment within the matrix model.
  • Employee Relations: Handle grievances, complaints, and investigations with confidentiality and respect, including legal cases, to support a positive workplace environment.
  • Policy Compliance: Maintain records of investigations, ensuring sensitive issues like sexual harassment are managed according to regulations (e.g., POSH Act).
  • Legal Liaison: Act as the initial contact for legal claims, coordinating with General Counsel and external lawyers as needed.
  • Policy Development: Enhance GSC employee relations policies to align with best practices, legal compliance, and risk management.
  • Legislative Compliance: Monitor legal changes, implementing plans to ensure WHS, POSH, and other requirements are met; provide training and updates to leaders and teams.
  • Talent Optimization: Promote and implement the Predictive Index program for optimized hiring, onboarding, and team interactions.
  • M&A Support: Contribute to M&A processes, including due diligence, risk assessment, integration planning, and communications.
  • Values & Culture: Model and uphold company values, addressing any misaligned behaviors promptly.
  • P&C Projects: Lead or participate in regional and global P&C projects.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to enhance the P&C function and the overall employee experience.
  • Reporting & Insights: Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making, regularly updating the executive team and board.
  • Travel: Participate in infrequent travel (quarterly within GSC, annual trips to Australia).

  • Strategic Partnering: Advise executive leaders with 12+ years of HR/P&C experience, focusing on contemporary practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships and communicate effectively across all levels.
  • Talent Development: Bring coaching and consulting expertise to develop teams.
  • Execution Focus: Work autonomously and lead others to deliver high-impact HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • High Growth Adaptability: Effectively manage competing priorities and thrive in dynamic settings.
  • Commercial & Strategic Mindset: Balance strategic thinking with a customer-focused, results-oriented approach.
  • Commercial Acumen: High-level insight into HRs impact on business outcomes.
  • Innovation & Collaboration: Creative, collaborative approach to HR solutions.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism: Handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft 365 and HR software skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel as needed.

Desirable:


  • International HR Exposure: Experience with diverse cultures, particularly South Asia, and its influence on HR practices.
  • Industry Insight: Background in IT services and MNC environments.
  • M&A Expertise: Proven track record in acquisition, integration, and divestment.

Key Qualifications:


Degree in Human Resources Management, Commerce/Business, Psychology, or a related field.
