Key Competencies

Essential

This role requires the following Competencies and experience;

• Minimum of two years of experience cybersecurity delivery in mid-sized businesses, with a focus on the implementation and ongoing management of security technologies in those environments.
• Minimum of five years of experience in the IT industry, supporting technologies such as Microsoft Azure and O365, Linux, Networking (LAN, WAN, & VPN environments), Cloud, and private IaaS platforms.
• Exposure to Security Governance and Compliance programmes, including but not limited to ISO27001 and NIST CSF.
• A sound knowledge of cyber security best practices, common attack and exploit types and detection / prevention / containment methods.
• A passion for excellent service delivery and customer service.
• Impeccable communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable

The following Competencies and Experience would be an advantage in this role;

• Experience in similar organisations to Brennan IT, who are focused on providing high quality services to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Qualifications or Certifications related to this area
• A strong background in IT Services and system administration;
• Certification in Azure and/or AWS management;
