Manufacturing Engineer

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Sunguvanchathram

Experience: 2-3 years

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Production & Process Management

* Manage production-related activities, including material preparation, cutting plans, and shearing plans based on priority and availability.

* Oversee production and ensure quality in fabrication and erection processes.

* Develop jigs and fixtures to optimize contractor output and improve efficiency.

* Plan and follow up on fitting, welding, and cleaning skids in coordination with foremen and engineers.

* Ensure timely execution of blasting and painting processes.

* Quality & Safety Compliance

* Monitor and enforce safety practices on the shop floor.

* Conduct site inspections based on isometric GA and P&ID drawings, ensuring compliance with standards and preparing punch lists.

* Perform breakdown analysis and assess manpower utilization for process improvement.

* Procurement & Resource Planning

* Plan and coordinate project procurement, including raw materials, consumables, machinery, spares, and tools.

* Verify and certify subcontractor bills to ensure accuracy and cost control.

* Development & Continuous Improvement

* Focus on process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations.

* Engage in quality control, inspection, dispatch, and billing activities.

Key Skills & Competencies:

* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.

* Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing tools.

* Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.

* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Strong communication and coordination abilities to work with contractors, engineers, and production teams.
