Ppc Engineer- Furniture Industry

Role & responsibilities

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed production plans and schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality modular furniture products to meet customer needs.
• Inventory Control: Monitor and manage raw material and finished goods inventory, ensuring material availability while avoiding overstocking or stockouts.
• Resource Optimization: Collaborate with production teams to ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, machinery, and materials, optimizing productivity.
• Demand Forecasting: Work closely with sales, design, and procurement teams to anticipate demand and adjust production schedules accordingly.
• Production Monitoring: Track production progress, addressing any issues or delays in real time, and ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Quality Assurance: Partner with the Quality Control team to ensure all modular furniture products meet stringent industry standards and Ergo Spaces specifications.
• Cost Control & Efficiency: Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency, reducing waste, and optimizing resources.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the design, engineering, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure smooth production processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to implement lean manufacturing principles and improve production workflows, processes, and systems.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain and analyze production data, generate performance reports, and present key insights to management.

Preferred candidate profile

• achelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PPC Engineer, ideally in the modular furniture industry or similar manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, modular furniture materials, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, production planning tools (such as SAP or MS Excel), and manufacturing software.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work across multiple departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
