HRBP Lead

As the HR Business Partner Lead, you will serve as a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR strategies with operational goals. You will influence, coach, and work directly with Leadership Teams, People Leaders, and front line leaders to build and maintain competent and engaged people. Your role will be pivotal in driving a step change in performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).

In this role, you will:

• Lead a small team of HR professionals in Malaysia, China, and India, providing consistent and timely HR support. As a subject matter expert, design and implement HR activities, ensuring operational discipline and a positive work environment.
• Use effective communication strategies and data-driven insights to diagnose issues and develop innovative people solutions. Build networks and collaborate across silos to enhance employee engagement and performance.
• Facilitate training for leaders on HR policies, performance management, and other HR matters. Embed effective talent management and succession planning to help leaders identify and develop talent, ensuring a high-performing workforce.
• Coach and support leaders in creating a desired organizational culture, capability, and performance. Lead workplace investigations, provide counsel on complex disciplinary actions, and ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through strategic focus and critical thinking.

Key Technical Criteria:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, Applied Science, Psychology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Human Resources, in a heavy industrial environment is essential.
• Proven expertise in the Business Partner Model and employee lifecycle processes.
• Strong knowledge of industrial relations frameworks and ER Strategies in the APAC region are essential.
• Leadership experience in a global environment is beneficial.
