Chartered Accountant

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, and other financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual tax returns (GST, Income Tax, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in financial audits and provide necessary information to external auditors.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain and update accounting records and ensure accurate data entry.
• Participate in financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of cash flow statements, tax filings, and other financial reports.
• Support in preparing financial reports for management review.

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification completed (0 to 3 years of post-qualification experience).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teams.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with internal and external audit processes.
• Exposure to international accounting standards (IFRS) is a plus.

*Experience in Indian Accounting Standards is must*
