Full-time, on-site role with nationwide responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

•      Strategic Development:

- Formulate and implement comprehensive trade marketing strategies to enhance sales and market share across all regions in India.

- Align trade marketing initiatives with the overall business objectives and brand strategies.

•      Team Leadership:

- Oversee and mentor Trade Marketing Executives in various regions, ensuring effective execution of trade marketing plans.

- Foster a collaborative environment to encourage professional growth and high performance within the team.

- Retailer and Distributor Management:

- Establish and maintain robust relationships with key retailers and distributors nationwide

- Negotiate trade terms, promotional schemes, and optimal shelf placements to maximize product visibility.

•      Market Analysis and Insights:

- Conduct thorough market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activities.

- Provide regular, detailed reports on market conditions, sales performance, and the effectiveness of trade marketing activities.

•      Sales Collaboration:

- Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

- Provide training and support to sales staff on trade marketing initiatives to ensure cohesive execution.

•      Brand Consistency:

- Ensure uniform brand messaging and representation across all trade marketing activities and channels.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing campaigns, making adjustments as necessary.

•      Budget Management:

- Manage the trade marketing budget efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

- Track and report on the return on investment (ROI) of trade marketing activities, making data-driven decisions for future initiatives.

Qualifications:

•      Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
•      5-7 years of experience in trade marketing, with a proven track record of managing nationwide operations, preferably in the FMCG or fashion industry.
•      In-depth understanding of the retail environment and consumer behavior across various regions in India.
•      Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
•      Strong analytical abilities, with proficiency in interpreting market data to develop actionable insights.
•      Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•      Willingness and ability to travel extensively across India as required.
