Sr. Manager/AVP - Global Procurement - EPC/Capex

Role & responsibilities

• Research & identify potential vendors/suppliers in the field of Manufacturing, Construction and various industries related to Capital intensive infrastructure projects.
• Conduct Market research (including making calls and studying the product sites etc.) for industries, sectors and identify product variants & pricing trends for Agri-commodities, Industrial products, equipment & machinery used in various capital-intensive infrastructure projects.
• Prepare cost analysis & comparatives.
• Update & maintain a consolidated Internal database on vendors/suppliers, supply chain companies, EPC companies, traders and product order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
• Evaluate & compare offers from vendors and negotiate optimum prices with support of team supervisors to provide cost effective sourcing solution to clients
• Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm/change/track orders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Preferred experience in Procurement & Supply Chain Management for 5 to 8 years with Projects driven / Engineering / Manufacturing setups or any related industry.
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• Hands-on experience with purchasing software
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of market research
