Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead Frontend Development to lead the design, development, and optimization of the frontend systems for our Generative AI (Gen AI) projects. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for building user-centric, intuitive, and performant interfaces that allow seamless interaction with AI-powered applications. You will work closely with backend and AI teams to ensure smooth integration and a superior user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of frontend developers, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver high-quality, scalable user interfaces.
• UI/UX Design Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into fully functional, responsive, and visually appealing frontends for Gen AI applications.
• Frontend Architecture Design: Design the architecture of the frontend stack to ensure scalability, performance, and security. Lead decisions on frameworks, libraries, and tools that support the long-term vision of the project.
• Development of AI-driven Interfaces: Lead the development of frontend features that interact with AI models (e.g., Chatbots, NLP, or other Generative AI solutions), ensuring smooth and responsive user experiences.
• Integration with Backend & APIs: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with backend APIs, ensuring proper data flow, handling, and performance optimization.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance of web applications across various devices and browsers. Optimize loading times, responsiveness, and interactivity for an excellent user experience.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Enforce best practices in coding, including writing clean, modular, and maintainable code. Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to modern frontend standards.
• Tooling & Workflow Management: Implement and manage development workflows using version control (Git), task management tools, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
• Testing & Debugging: Lead efforts to write unit and integration tests for frontend components, ensuring the application is bug-free and robust. Debug complex UI issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility & Accessibility: Ensure that applications are compatible across all major browsers and adhere to accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation for frontend processes, including design decisions, code structures, and component libraries. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in frontend development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or team lead role.
• Strong experience in building responsive, performant, and scalable web applications using modern frontend frameworks.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in modern frontend technologies such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, or similar.
• Experience in state management libraries like Redux, Vuex, or MobX.
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and minimizing render times.
• Strong experience in consuming and integrating RESTful APIs or GraphQL.
• Proficiency in CSS-in-JS libraries like Styled Components or Emotion for dynamic styling.
• Understanding of accessibility best practices and WCAG standards.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress for frontend testing.
