We are looking for a talented and experienced MEAN Stack Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MEAN Stack Tech Lead to oversee the development and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js , along with strong leadership abilities to guide a team of developers. This role involves technical leadership, hands-on coding, architecture decisions, performance optimization, and Agile collaboration to ensure high-quality and maintainable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Leadership & Code Reviews

• Lead a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality code standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to enforce coding standards, performance optimizations, and security best practices.
• Define and maintain coding guidelines, architectural patterns, and best practices for MEAN stack development.
• Identify technical debt and recommend refactoring strategies to improve code quality and scalability.

2. Full-Stack Development & Architecture

• Design and develop scalable front-end applications using Angular (v14+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 .
• Implement robust backend services using Node.js and Express.js .
• Develop and optimize MongoDB database schemas and queries for high performance.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services, WebSockets, and other external systems.
• Implement authentication & authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth) to ensure secure access.
• Optimize performance, caching, and security at both frontend and backend levels.

3. Testing & Debugging

• Implement unit testing frameworks like Jasmine/Karma for frontend and backend components.
• Debug performance issues using tools like Chrome DevTools and Node.js debugging tools .
• Ensure thorough end-to-end testing and integration testing for seamless application functionality.

4. Team Collaboration & Agile Development

• Mentor and coach junior/mid-level developers on MEAN stack technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Lead Agile/Scrum meetings (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure timely and efficient feature delivery.
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines.

5. Security & Compliance

• Ensure secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, and others .
• Follow OWASP guidelines and implement best security practices in APIs, authentication, and data handling.
• Regularly audit and update security protocols to stay ahead of potential threats.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
• Proficiency in Angular (v14+) , TypeScript , HTML5 , and CSS3 for front-end development.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js for building scalable backend services.
• Expertise in MongoDB for database design, schema optimization, and query performance tuning.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth .
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, Chai).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for both frontend and backend systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address technical challenges.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and manage multiple priorities.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and WebSocket-based real-time applications .
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and its implementation.
• Prior experience in scaling web applications for high traffic and performance.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, MongoDB Certified Developer)
