Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal
candidate will be instrumental in managing and improving our human resources processes while
fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture. This role requires a balance of strategic
thinking and hands-on execution in various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing,
screening, interviewing, and offer roll-out.
2. Employee Onboarding, Induction, and Orientation
• Ensure smooth onboarding of new employees by coordinating orientation programs and
ensuring completion of documentation.
• Conduct induction sessions to familiarize employees with company policies, culture, and
expectations.
3. Employee Life Cycle Management
• Oversee employee life cycle processes, including confirmations, promotions, transfers, and
exits.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
4. Payroll and HR Operations
• Coordinate payroll processing and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage employee benefits, attendance, and leave records efficiently.
• Handle exit interviews, resignation processes, and full-and-final settlements with empathy
and professionalism.
5. Training and Development
• Identify training needs and work with leadership to design and execute development
programs.
• Track the effectiveness of training initiatives and suggest improvements.
6. Performance Management
• Support the implementation and execution of performance appraisal processes.
• Provide guidance on goal-setting, performance reviews, and constructive feedback.
7. Statutory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including timely filing of statutory
returns.
• Act as the point of contact for audits and inspections.
8. Rewards and Recognition Programs
• Design and implement employee rewards and recognition initiatives to boost engagement
and morale.
9. Employee Engagement
• Plan and execute employee engagement activities, including team-building events and
wellness programs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for employees, addressing their concerns and fostering open
communication.
10. HR Metrics and Analytics
• Analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR strategies and provide actionable
insights.
• Prepare HR dashboards and reports for senior management.
11. Process Improvement
• Identify and implement HR process improvements, ensuring alignment with business
goals.
• Stay updated on futuristic HR practices and trends to enhance the companys people
management framework.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
or related field. A Masters degree in HR or an equivalent certification is preferred.
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR Generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
across all levels of the organization.
• Highly analytical with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new HR technologies and best practices.
