About the Job: - We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Functional Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of financial processes within Navision, along with hands-on experience in related ERP modules including Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, and Inventory. You will play a key role in system implementations, data migration, and integration with various satellite systems.
Job Title - Senior Functional Consultant - Finance (Navision)
Location: Pune, Mumbai, Noida, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai & Coimbatore.
Educational Background -
Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science or related fields (B.E/B.Tech or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities -
1.Navision Expertise:
Provide functional consultancy on Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2012/2016, primarily focusing on Finance and related modules.
Configure and customize Navision to meet business requirements while ensuring best practices are followed.
2.Finance Domain Specialization:
Lead the implementation of modules such as Financial Planning and Analysis, General Ledger Management, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Accounting, Fixed Asset Management, Multi-Currency Handling, and Reporting & Analytics.
3.Cross-Module Knowledge:
Collaborate with teams across Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, and Inventory modules to ensure seamless process integration.
4.Industry Experience:
oUtilize your 2 to 4 years of industry experience to provide insights and best practices in Navision implementations.
5.Data Migration:
Oversee and execute data migration activities, particularly from Navision to SAP, ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial data.
6.Integration:
Manage integration of Navision with multiple satellite systems, ensuring efficient data flow and system performance.
7.Localization Knowledge:
Provide insights and expertise in localization modules relevant to various regions including Asia and Europe.
8.System Maintenance:
oConduct regular health checks, manage update installations, and apply security patches to maintain optimal system performance.
9.Reporting and Tools Proficiency:
Utilize specialized reporting tools, data migration tools, and integration tools to deliver high-quality outputs.
10.Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide solutions, and effectively communicate progress and updates.
Skills Required:
Proficient in data migration techniques, with experience in migrations from Navision to SAP being a significant advantage.
Understanding of system integration methodologies.
Familiarity with localization requirements and modules for Asia and Europe.
