Corporate Counsel- LLB + CS

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for corporate and commercial advisory, including on matters of corporate governance, business strategies, legal risks, and statutory requirements.

- Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and contracts.

- Responsible for monitoring and implementing changes in corporate laws and regulations.

- Manage outside consultants in relation to corporate compliances.

- Advise the company in negotiations, regulatory inquiries, and disputes.

- Advise on legal risks and implications associated with contracts and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.

- Support internal verticals through collaboration to address legal and compliance needs.

- Seek ways to streamline and improve on inefficiencies, including continual improvement of forms and processes in response to customer concerns or internal demands.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience of between 5-7 years.
• L.L.B. from an accredited school and qualified as a Company Secretary (CS) by Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage competing deadlines.
• Pragmatic, business focus with an understanding of business goals, and the ability to assess and manage risk.
• Team player with exceptional people skills who has the demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships at all levels of an organization.
