Business Development Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Identify potential clients, including hospitals, clinics, doctors, and corporate health programs.
• Generate leads and follow up with healthcare professionals to promote laboratory services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the revenue growth of the laboratory.
• Build and maintain long-term partnerships with healthcare providers.
• Address client inquiries and provide information on laboratory services, pricing, and processes.
• Ensure client satisfaction by coordinating with laboratory staff to resolve service issues promptly.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including workshops, seminars, and promotional events.
• Distribute promotional materials to doctors, hospitals, and clinics.
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to enhance online presence and lead generation.
• Work closely with the laboratory team to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Provide feedback from clients to improve service quality and offerings.
• Assist in developing pricing strategies and service packages based on market demand.
• Maintain records of sales, client interactions, and business development activities.
• Prepare regular reports on business performance and market trends for senior management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or Healthcare Management.
• MBA in Marketing, Healthcare Management, or Business Development is an added advantage.
• experience in sales, business development, or marketing in the healthcare, diagnostic, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong lead generation, negotiation, and closing skills in the healthcare sector.
• Ability to develop new client relationships and manage existing accounts.
• Knowledge of B2B and B2C sales strategies in the medical diagnostics field.
