Job Description : Automation Test Lead

Experience : 7 Years to 10 Years

Location : Noida

Responsibilities :

- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive test automation strategy.

- Architect, design, and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, pytest, etc.).

- Design and implement end-to-end QA processes for projects from scratch to ensure software quality.

- Mentor and lead a team of Test Automation Engineers, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a collaborative environment.

- Define and implement test automation processes and standards across the organization.

- Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product teams to ensure effective integration of test automation throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and work with developers to resolve them efficiently.

- Stay up to date on the latest trends and advancements in test automation technologies and methodologies.

- Continuously evaluate and improve test automation tools and frameworks used within the team.

- Develop and maintain test automation documentation, including test scripts, test plans, and reports.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Science, or similar

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.

- 7 years of experience in Web Automation and Backend Testing

- 7 years of experience working with Agile methodology, and related testing and test automation techniques

- Complete understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

- Experience working with and developing automated test scripts using test automation tools & frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriver, Cucumber, TestNG, etc

- Hands-on experience in performing gray box testing with automation testing tools

- Debugging critical issues

- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing test automation initiatives.

- In-depth knowledge of various test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, pytest, BDD tools).

- Good experience in writing complex SQL queries

- Hands-on software testing and quality assurance activities with fluency in one or more programming languages like Java or Python

- Experience in designing and architecting test automation frameworks across various quality gates, including unit testing, API, Web UI, performance, security, and production monitoring

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).

- Experience in API Test automation.

- Experience in Performance & Security Testing is a plus.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers.

- Experience in designing and developing scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.

- Experience in integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (a plus).
