Job Responsibilities:

Product Selection and Procurement:

- Source and select makeup products that align with the company's brand, target market, and pricing strategy.

- Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favourable terms.

Supplier Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, fostering partnerships to enhance product quality, availability, and innovation.

- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.

Market Analysis and Trend Identification:

- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.

- Utilize market insights to identify new product opportunities and adjust product offerings to meet changing market demands

Inventory Management:

- Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.

- Monitor inventory turnover rates, forecast demand, and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to maintain efficient inventory flow.

Price and Margin Management:

- Monitor pricing trends and competitive pricing strategies within the makeup market.

- Implement pricing strategies that balance profitability with market competitiveness and consumer demand.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

- Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to develop effective promotional strategies, marketing campaigns, and product launches.

- Collaborate with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment on inventory planning, budget management, and sales forecasting.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure all makeup products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines.

- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address product quality issues, implement corrective actions, and uphold brand integrity.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

- Analyse sales performance, profitability, and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to makeup products.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics, trends, and actionable insights to senior management.
