Job Description
About the Position
The Sr. Associate will oversee the implementation of the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) programme for Grades 3 8. This role focuses on improving literacy and numeracy skills through structured teaching, teacher support, and progress tracking to ensure measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities - Plan and conduct engaging lessons focused on foundational literacy and numeracy skills, providing support to students who need remedial help.
- Train teachers in FLN pedagogy and provide professional development to equip teachers with effective strategies for teaching FLN.
- Co-create and administer periodic assessments to evaluate student learning, using the results to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Track student progress using assessments and analyse data to address learning gaps effectively.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) with a primary education focus.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, with expertise in foundational literacy and numeracy. (Preferred)
Skills and Qualities:
- Strong communication skills in English and Gujarati.
- Knowledge of FLN principles and teaching methods.
- Data-driven approach to improve student learning.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
