Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute quarterly, semi-annual, and annual business plans for the state, including revenue achievement plans and revenue mix targets.
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities and market segments.
- Develop short-term and long-term sales and penetration plans for the assigned state in coordination with the Zonal Business Head.
- Prepare and manage budgets for capital and operational expenditures at the state level.
- Drive revenue growth through effective leadership, team management, and strategic initiatives.
- Manage and motivate a team of front-line sales personnel to achieve sales targets and meet company standards.
- Ensure channel partners adhere to company policies, procedures, and infrastructure requirements.
- Identify and assess state-level risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including Sa-dhan, MFIN, RBI guidelines, and Client Protection Principles.
- Monitor and track credit bureau reports.
- Contribute to the corporate-level risk rating process.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of branch and regional managers.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure adequate training and development opportunities for all team members.
- Build a strong and motivated team culture.
- Monitor and control operational expenses at the state level.
- Ensure efficient and effective branch and regional operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all operations and financial activities.
- Prepare and analyze regular reports on state-level performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing and leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, with a focus on microfinance or related sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements (Sa-dhan, MFIN, RBI).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
