Job Profile - VFD Sales for Packaging Industry.
Position Location: Pune.
Reporting to Business Head.
Industry Prefer - Automation industry with experience on VFDs sales (Servo exposure would be additional advantage).
Year of experience - 8-16 years.
Purpose of the Role:
Drive business growth for Printing and Packaging vertical through business development activities on PAN India basis along with field sales team, including cross selling and managing customer relationships thereby ensuring achievement of sales targets of the vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
- To do customer mapping, competitor mapping with respect to different application segments.
- Identify and develop System integrator and Potential OEM's in Printing and packaging applications for a long term business relationship.
- Work closely with field sales team & identified system integrators for application prove out in Printing and packaging machines - create references.
- Perform application study about the clear requirements/deliverables from customer and suggest suitable BOM thr' local sales team.
- Work closely with the application development team for simulation of applications like Converting, FFS (vertical/horizontal, high speed corrugated sheet cutter), cartons box making, shrink wrapping, labeling, pharmaceutical tablet compression and packaging machines, Films unwinding, slicing, printing (flexo, rotogravure), ELS , slitter , calendar machine etc., by understanding customer wants, needs and desire.
- Ensure timely response to System integrators / customer requirements with the help of field sales team.
- Need to act as a Key Account Manager for Potential big OEM's and push for our products to them for the entire range of their machines.
- Identify opportunities for integrated solutions i.e ., orders involving IM Motors/ Servo motors Systems along with Drives division product lines to Head - Drive Sales.
- Build on vertical toolkit including, intro letter, presentations, catalogue, case studies, FABs, FAQs.
- Keep close watch on market trends for technological changes/upgrades, competitor business share, offerings - LinkedIn, exhibitions, seminars/webinars.
- Work closely with sales co team, MMD team for smooth execution.
- Provide technical support to customers on after-sales related issues, work closely with application, service team for warranty / service requirements, if any.
- Periodic visits to OEMS for understanding scope of improvement in offering which would help adding value In their machines.
- Study the compliances laid by international standards and to adapt same in BBL offering with help from application team.
- Ensure specifications of the customer are documented in the relevant formats.
- Ensure timely response to the customer on any queries / issues raised by them during finalization / execution /post execution sales.
- Preparing Reports and forecast about the demand of products partner wise & region wise/ Track forecast Vs Actual sales.
- Prepare MIS dashboard for review with management.
