Job Summary:
The Product Head - Air Conditioning will lead product strategy, market execution, and business expansion. Responsible for managing the product lifecycle, optimizing the lineup, driving competitive positioning, and increasing profitability. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance market share, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Strategy & Market Execution:
- Develop and execute a product roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Optimize the product lineup based on market trends and customer needs.
- Define Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) for brand differentiation.
- Oversee new product development (NPD) with a focus on time-to-market strategies.
- Ensure high product quality and innovation through collaboration with engineering and production teams.
2. Market Analysis & Business Growth:
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
- Develop and refine product positioning, branding, and promotional strategies.
- Drive B2B and B2C sales with a focus on corporate clients, real estate developers, and HVAC contractors.
- Expand partnerships and distribution networks to enhance market presence.
- Optimize pricing strategies to balance profitability and competitiveness.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution:
- Work with R&D, production, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Address technical challenges and accelerate product launch timelines.
- Implement cost control measures and improve sourcing efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years in product management, business development, or leadership in HVAC/AC.
- Strong market knowledge, cost control expertise and strategic acumen.
- Proven track record in pricing strategy, revenue growth and profitability optimization.
- Excellent leadership, project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
