Mechanical engineer and Mechanical Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities

Mechanical Engineer / Marine Engineer.

1) To take care of technical works for factory/plant related maintenance works.

2) Leading factory/Plant repair team to do the required jobs in ships/workshop/plant site.

3) Making work completion certificate and reports as required.

4) Candidates having knowledge in chemical/ steel/ fertilizer/ refinery factories/ship repair/ship building maintenance works are preferred.

5) Candidates who have worked in maintenance department of factories/ship repair company are preferred.

6) Candidates having mechanical engineering degree or diploma are preferred.

7) Should know engineering drawing, weight calculation, work plan etc.

8) Should know MS office and should make inspection/job completion reports.

9) Should know AutoCAD/SolidWorks for making engineering drawings.

10) Should be a fluent speaker in English and should be able to handle customer.

11) Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and soliciting observations from operators.

Mechanical Supervisor.

1) Candidate should be familiar with shipping industry.

2) Candidate should be able instruct and manage the technical team.

3) Candidate should be able to manage all jobs given to them.

4) Should make daily progress report and conduct daily meetings with the technical team.

5) Should be able to motivate and encourage team for timely completion of job.

6) Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

7) Prepares service reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.

8) To supervise works for factory/plant/ship related maintenance works.

9) Candidate should have good spoken English.

10) candidate should be able to manage workers and complete the job on time.

11) candidate should be able to make service report

12) candidate should be able to make gate passes and should follow all safety instructions.

13) candidate should report to the manager daily and update work progress.

Desired Candidate Profile

1) Candidates having knowledge in chemical/ steel/ fertilizer/ refinery factories/ship repiar/ship building maintenance works are preferred.

2) Candidates who have worked in maintenance department of factories/ship repair company are preferred.

3) Candidates having mechanical engineering degree or diploma or any degree in accepatable.
