Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Showroom Sales Officer to join our team at Faber Platinum Studio. As a key member of our showroom staff, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for all visitors. Your role will involve assisting customers with their purchasing decisions, maintaining showroom displays, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service Excellence:

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Provide detailed product information, demonstrations, and guidance to customers based on their needs.
  • Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.

2. Sales and Target Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets set by the showroom management.
  • Actively promote products, up-sell, and cross-sell to customers to increase sales.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, product offers, and new arrivals to effectively inform customers.

3. Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on the features, benefits, and specifications of all products in the showroom.
  • Provide accurate information regarding pricing, specifications, and delivery options to customers.
  • Offer personalized solutions based on customer requirements, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.

4. Visual Merchandising and Store Maintenance:

  • Ensure that showroom displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Arrange products according to company standards to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and inform management of inventory shortages or stock levels.

5. Sales Reporting:

  • Keep track of sales performance and customer interactions.
  • Report daily, weekly, and monthly sales figures to the Showroom Manager.
  • Assist in tracking customer preferences and feedback to improve product offerings and sales strategies.

6. Administrative Support:

  • Assist with processing customer orders, invoices, and payments accurately.
  • Ensure all sales documentation, including customer details and transaction records, is correctly entered and maintained.
  • Help with the management of product returns and exchanges in line with company policies.

7. Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with showroom colleagues and management to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Participate in showroom meetings, training sessions, and product knowledge workshops.
  • Assist in team efforts to meet showroom targets and customer satisfaction goals.

8. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries and sales leads, ensuring an ongoing positive relationship.
  • Promote loyalty programs or membership benefits when applicable.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred; a degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is a plus).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in showroom sales or retail environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Basic computer skills (POS systems, MS Office, etc.).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
