Social Media Specialist (Content Creator)

• Bachelors degree in Social Media, Digital Marketing, Communications or a similar field

Work Experience

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role

Job-Specific Skills

• Fluency in English both written and spoken (Any other language is a plus)
  
• Excellent storytelling and creative writing skills
  
• Creative problem-solving and ability to generate original, attention-grabbing ideas
  
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  
• Good organisational and excellent time management skills
  
• Adaptable and quick to adjust to trends and platform updates
  
• Self-starter mentality, independent, pro-active workstyle
  
• Photography, Videography and Graphic Design knowledge is desired
  
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite desired
  
• Experience with Social Media Management tool such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Amplify, etc. is a plus
  
• Good people skills and friendly and diplomatic demeanour

Your Main Tasks

• Develop creative, high-quality content, including graphics, photos, videos, reels, stories, and written captions that capture attention and drive engagement.
  
• Monitor trends and stay up to date with innovative content formats and explore their use for the company to provide an edge over competitors.
  
• Research topics from internal stakeholders and build them into compelling stories and impactful campaigns that support the business goals of the company.
  
• Establish and maintain a good internal and external network and collaborate with stakeholders on content projects and curate content for brand ambassadors.
  
• Build and maintain a clear and structured content calendar.
  
• Schedule and publish content in line with the groups social media strategy and optimise style and timing for key target groups.
  
• Conduct content audits and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  
• Collaborate with key external stakeholders and influencers on impactful campaigns.
  
• Track and analyze content performance metrics (e.g., engagement rates, views, shares, conversions).
  
• Secondary task: Community Management. While Content Creation and Management is the clear focus area, the Content Creator supports the group in all relevant areas of Community Management.
  
• Preparations of insightful content reports.
  
• Support the Social Media Strategist with the wider social media operations. Additional tasks to in the field of social media can be requested on an on-demand basis.
