QA, BA and Scrum Master

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this multifaceted role, you will not only be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products but also act as a Scrum Master and Business Analyst. You will be a key player in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to testing and release.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

1. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
2. Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
3. Perform thorough root cause analysis of defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
4. Ensure the quality and timely delivery of software releases.
5. Stay abreast of the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.

Scrum Master:

1. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
2. Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress.
3. Guide the team in following Agile principles and practices.
4. Track team progress and ensure the team meets sprint goals.

Business Analyst:

1. Gather and analyze business requirements from clients (primarily based in the USA).
2. Elicit, document, and validate user stories and acceptance criteria.
3. Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
4. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope and objectives.

Client Interaction:

1. Effectively communicate with clients (based in the USA) regarding project status, risks, and issues.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
3. Understand and adapt to different communication styles and time zones.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in software testing, including experience with various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
2. Strong experience in working with clients based in the USA, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with a proven track record as a Scrum Master.
4. Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
5. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance best practices.
6. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
