State Client - Account Manager

Location: Remote (Anywhere in India)

Experience: 12+ Years overall, with 5+ years specifically in Account Management (including 3+ years managing State Clients in US IT Staffing)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven State Client - Account Manager to join our dynamic team.

This pivotal role will focus on managing and growing our relationships with US State clients within the IT staffing domain.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the intricacies of state government procurement processes, a proven track record of successful account management within the IT staffing industry, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.

You will be responsible for driving client satisfaction, expanding our service offerings, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT staffing solutions to our valued state clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within US State client organizations.

- Proactively understand client needs, challenges, and strategic objectives, and translate them into effective IT staffing solutions.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for state clients, advocating for their needs and ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

- Drive high levels of client satisfaction by consistently exceeding expectations and delivering exceptional service.

- Manage and oversee client contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

- Demonstrate a high-level understanding of staffing solutions and client needs within a Vendor Management System (VMS) and Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment, specifically as it pertains to state government.

- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, including requirement gathering, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and candidate placement for assigned state client requisitions.

- Accurately analyze client IT requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent.

- Collaborate with offshore recruitment teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of staffing solutions.

- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recruitment and account management, and implement strategies to improve results.

- Ensure that all recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and client requirements.

- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand service offerings within state client accounts.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing state client accounts and related government agencies.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities within the state government IT staffing sector.

- Responsible for achieving a good conversion ratio of submissions to interviews and placements.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience:


- 12+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years in Account Management, and a minimum of 3 years specifically managing US State clients in the IT staffing industry.

- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing accounts with US State government clients.

- Deep understanding of the IT staffing industry, including recruitment processes, technologies, and market trends.

- Strong understanding of VMS/MSP environments and their application in state government procurement.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

- Proven ability to negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.

- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

- Thorough understanding of state and federal employment laws and regulations.

- A technical educational background is highly preferred.

- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
